The Seeking Heart (Poetry and Music)

I wish to be the horsehead fiddle,
its melody unfurling a prairie,
as fingers glide over strings

Snowy sheep roam at ease,
sturdy steeds sprint ahead…

girls’ sleeves fly in the breeze
their smiles sunlit and sweet.
how much I long
To ride to the endless green.

In dreams, it blooms with song,
wind carries wings and milk scent.
Mongolian yurts scattered like stars,
dancers’ steps awakening the soil

Beneath the sunset’s quiet glow,
The meadows stretch beyond sight…
Whose gaze stays crystal clear?
Whose heart soars with eagles?

Your fingers weave a story,
my soul trembles with sighs…
Wherever the morin khuur sings,
its echoes linger deep within me…

May the prairie keep its unspoiled beauty.
May the world be free of strife and discord.
May our hearts open with ease.
May our eyes behold light and peace
