1. Showcase samples of visual interpretation of art, poetry and film
2. Participants join interlingual discussions of sample work
The first hour Anna will showcase samples and share thoughts and what she learnt.

The second hour would be like an open mic style and participants will have an opportunity to show their work related to Poly-Translation in art and poetry form.

Anna Yin was Mississauga’s Inaugural Poet Laureate (2015-17) and has authored five poetry collections and three books of translations. Anna won the 2005 Ted Plantos Memorial Award, two MARTYs, two scholarships from USA and grants from Arts Council etc. Her poems/translations have appeared at Queen’s Quarterly, ARC Poetry, New York Times, China Daily, CBC Radio, Literary Review of Canada etc. She read on Parliament Hill, at Austin International Poetry Festival, Edmonton Poetry Festival and universities in China, Canada and USA etc. she hosted poetry and art workshops in person & online since 2011.
